I am particularly touched by the present war in Ukraine and by the absurdity of the suffering caused by the invaders (to their own unaware soldiers too). Even if I feel a strong sorrow and sentiment for all of those who lost their beloved ones, their houses, their tranquility and their future, when I have decided to put my hands on the synths again I felt that I want to spread my mental energy to the ether by addressing it to the defenders inviting them to fight even more, possibly towards a final victory.

Almost all the pieces – except for a meditative one – are sequencer-based and they are extremely dynamic, dramatic and partly epic. The style is fully inspired by the most classical Berlin School.

Totemtag is the pseudonym in music of Dr. Massimo Teodorani, who is an Italian Ph.D. astrophysicist. He is strongly inspired by the Berlin School of classical electronic music. Lastly he attempts to approach Ambient, Trance and Chillout music.
